Principal Investigator Positions at the Chinese Institutes for Medical Research, Beijing The Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR) is a newly founded institution dedicated to fundamental and translational medical research. The CIMR is located at the main campus of the Capital Medical University, Beijing, China and committed to building a scientist-centered governance framework and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. We are looking for outstanding scientists at all ranks who study Cancer Biology, Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics, Regenerative Medicine, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Genetics and Molecular Medicine, Medical Physiology, Drug Discovery, Medical Engineering, and relevant interdisciplinary fields. Candidates with experience in translational research are especially encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with physician scientists in the Capital Medical University Affiliated Hospitals, and have access to a broad range of patient samples for basic and translational studies. Position qualifications 1.Assistant Investigators: Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, successful postdoctoral training experience, and have demonstrated the potential to establish a vibrant independent research program. 2.Associate Investigators: The applicant should have experience of establishing and running an independent lab, and is recognized as a rising star in the field. 3.Investigators: Senior applicants are expected to have a well-established record of research accomplishments and world leadership in relevant fields. Salary, Benefits and Start-up Packages The CIMR provides internationally competitive and generous start-up packages, five-six years of annual support and attractive salaries and comprehensive fringe benefits (including housing allowance, health insurance, and retirement plan). The CIMR has outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral programs and cutting-edge cores and facilities.
